Wow! Look at all the happy faces and shockies in the thread, today!
It would appear that the British Bulldog Racers were just waiting for paf077 to get the heck off the track. Turning heads and causing a few of the young ladies in the stands to faint at the sight of that hunky Brit team flexing their dump muscles, the BB Racers oiled the wu whappers and greased the wu chutes to the tune of 212 workunits to cement their hold on first place in The Crunch & Munch 10K. The monster mash of a dump gives credence to the views of certain purging prognosticators that the BB Racers had to be tinkling in their queue, based on the latest intel regarding their armament. They warned that a large dump was in the offing, and they were right. Very impressive, Bulldogs. Very impressive, indeed.
Captain OD has ordered all photon cannons to bear on Captain Poopsie's ship in 20,000 Before the Project Ends, or Else! Many, many parsecs ago, Poopsie left the USS Ohio cartwheeling through space, tossed about like so much space junk in the dark matter wake of the USS Poop's thunderous passing. Now, Captain OD, trechery on his mind, has pulled to within two parsecs of his old Starfleet academy buddy. In The Race to Number 50, Makin' Bacon Cakin holds steady at TA number 51, only one click from his desired goal of landing a spot in the team top 50. With his production now creeping back close to the 80 mark, cakin may have a shot at clicking off the last spot sometime in the near future. Meanwhile, Cunning Conjur hangs on the the number 57 spot, appearing to be treading water at the time being.
Our two solo challengers are keeping race aficionados riveted to their seats at two separate venues. Awesome Adul is flying around the track in his quest for the TA Top 250 trophy and Bullet BobTheWizard earns a smilie for his monster nine as he chases down the 1K milestone marker before the SETI I project comes to a close. The 3000 WU Smoosh has many in the crowd running to the restrooms because they're nearly peeing in their pants from the excitement taking place on the track. With the Rebel Alliance and Jumpin' Jatwell closing in quickly on the leaders, positions one through five are bunching up like a pair of undershorts that are two sizes too small during a long, bumpy bus ride. The 1500 WU Smackdown has a new leader as Bad Bad Baldy18 continues his hot streak, laying waste to 44 poor little wu's and aothough Poopsie may be just about to surrender his lead in one race, he's running the table in the 1000 WU Woad Wally, stretching his lead over KCJeeper to 92.
