Seti Queue on dual machine

I've got 2 s@h clients running side-by-side on my dual pIII, with a cable modem for 24/7 connectivity that the machine sees as a LAN. How do I set up SetiQ? Do I need two instances, one in each Seti directory? Or do I set it up in its own directory, and point the clients to it?
I lost lots of WU's last time seti went down, and I'd rather not go thru that again----

P.S. - best day ever for me yesterday - 8 WU's from my one machine! I'm working on assimilating a friend's computer training center (30 machines, at least) but we're waiting till he gets direct connection in October ------

Click on the link in my sig and then check out the Setique faq. It'll walk you through setting up setique. If you still have questions I'm sure the guys here will be glad to help you out.

You'll just install setique once in it's own directory and point the 2 clients to it. I guess you need to patch the clients also (explained in the faq). However I'm running mine not patched and it works fine for me. You'll also need to configure setique which is also covered in the faq.

Since you're connected 24/7, you don't need to patch the clients. Just point them to "-proxy 127.0.0.1:5512". 🙂
