Seti Numbers

Okay, my seti numbers are gonna move around for a while. Our main office, that shares its internet connection with the other 4 offices, is moving today. BellSouth was kind enough to tell me yesterday that the order to move our internet line got "missed" so even though our phones and frame are moving, my whole office is going to drop off the internet this afternoon. Although it's a relatively minor piece of it, it will affect my numbers.

My work queue has about 4 days worth of wu's, and I'm currently downloading as many as I can. I'm also checking with bellsouth to find out if they can get me dsl any faster than moving my T1 (they claim it'll be another 6 weeks) I can move my queue to my house and have it download a bunch of wu's, then bring it back to the office, but i'll lose some numbers and might only upload every few days.

Just a little warning. If anyone has any pull with bellsouth, let me know. 🙂

Ouch! :Q

T1 (they claim it'll be another 6 weeks)

The President/CEO/Owner of the company should call your account rep and complain about it, stating how it will affect service, impact profitablility, etc., and seeing how it's a Bell South screwup, Bell South should expedite this request. AND request deep discounts off the cost of the T1 due to help offset the loss of business.

We had to do that with Ameritech, and they did speed things up some, and did discount the cost, once we proved to them it was their screwup, and we had submitted our requests with more than enough lead time for them.

Like what they said. You should at least be able to get Business DSL immediately for free until they provision the T1 ends.
