SETI - more LAR's lately?

Does there seem to be more low angle range WU's being handed out lately?
Of the last 12 WU's i've done, 4 have been very low angle ranges-
0.010
0.001
0.012
0.023

It's easy for me to tell as each of these takes over 20 hrs. to process. 🙁

Just wondered if anyone else has noticed.

I have seen a few more lately than I had before. I actually think we were getting a lot of of high AR WUs for awhile and now it is going more back towards normal.

yes, I've definatly noticed this also. I currently have 13wus with an ar of .022-.024 qued out of 80 total. of coarse out of that 80 I also have 14wus with an ar of 1.5 or higher. go figure.😕

WoW...I've got a bunch as well. I counted over 100 Waiting and nearly 40 Pending! :Q Usully I have more HAR type WUs, but now they are only about a third of the bad ones! Months ago I added a few Athlon XPs running WinXP and that really helped me with the VLAR WUs!

Thank god I have linux running on my dual Athlon with 2 processes going! 😀 Setiqueue has been very nicely shuffling those VLAR WUs to that queue. It was bad enough before when those things were being shunted to my dual Xeon (but the processors are only 500MHz) running 2K. Linux does them much better! 🙂

Yep ,I've had a few VLAR WU's too in the past few days ,about time I got SETI working properly in Win2k.

Proxy is in the command line but it won't connect to my Q😕

Anyone any ideas?

Heya Poof,

Can we send all VLAR WU's to you so your Linux box has something to do? 😀
Then we can concentrate on the fast ones. 😉😛 j/k
