Not sure if this is a short break in the clog but seti started loading with only one interuption so far. Hope it is a light at the end of the bottle neck.
I am downloading faster than completed Wus are coming in, which is great news for me, a few of my Q's, Linux clients, have suffered due to the demand for winnt-cmdline Wu's, this will hopefully fill the winnt-cmdline need and start downloading enough Linux ones.
The additional 10 MB/sec will go only to SETI@home. This was implemented
recently but there are still several kinks to work out. However, the number of
dropped connections decreased significantly. We're still dropping connections,
though, but at least people are eventually able to get through as opposed to
not getting through at all. Maybe once we catch up over the next couple of
days the extra bandwidth will keep the project afloat while we drum up a
better solution.
