I actually haven't checked in on this thread for a while since I thought I didn't have any machines running SETI this month.. ;) I wonder where that 9 on Saturday and 3 yesterday came from!? :confused: Oh, well, I'm certainly not going to complain about WU's that I didn't think I was going to have!! :)

Well, my stats went up a little bit due to a "weekend assimilation effort" - I may be able to get those occasionally. :)

ASSIM1 : You're crunching at a good rate. I'm going to soon upgrade my C450 with a C600. It's ordered... ;) :) BTW, my SETI fleet is converted to 3.03... For example, the PIII 450 times are down from 8h30 to 14-15 hours... serious hit ! ;)

My next goal is to join the 99.9% club. I'm currently at 99.898%, nearly there. Taking my sweet time removing the clients at work. :D

OT, but the F/S forum blows. Are any of you guys looking for 64MB EDO SIMM's? I've got 6 sitting here going to waste and I need to sell 'em ram sold. Fire me a PM if interested. I also have a barebones dual PPro 180's system for sale cheap. Full server tower, 300w PS, supermicro 440 mobo, S3 2MB video, Intel 10/100 NIC, 3 case fans and floppy. Just upgraded to a dual PPro 200's system so I took what I needed from it and now it just sits here. I have enough parts to resurrect it, but I need the money more....dang gone christmas hurt me. LOL

As for the For Sale forum, I'm not sure what you mean by "blows"??

Contact this guy: LukFilm - I think he's still looking for about 10 of the simms that you've got; I've had deals with him myself and no problems at all. Oops, my mistake, it looks like Luk is looking for 32meg simms, but I'd be willing to bet that 64megs might also be of interest to him.

I'm running my new C600. :) It don't boot at 675 :(, don't boot at 747 :( but boot at 900 :) then freezes :(. I'll try to tweak it ;) but not sure to succeed.

Good luck with the cel Polo! May as well count me down to 8000 wu's, why not? My race is to get there before they pull the v3.0 cli...who knows when that will be. I gonna keep milking till then. At that point I will continue the removal process at work. :(

BTW I should have a big dump on Sunday or Monday! ;) ,watch out for that:).

However my 3rd (temporary) SETI ship has been downgraded.I've sold the PII 400 (@448) it had ,its now got the Cel 300A, which in any decent board will do 464-475 at default voltage but in this POS PC Chips board it won't go over 374MHz :(

Sorry : No stats yesterday. I've upgraded my little server from P200MMX to C300A. This C300A is able to reach 450 at normal voltage but the crappy motherboard (440EX) don't allow a FSB greater than 66 MHz. During the upgrade, the HDD died... :( I've had to rebuilt my server from scratch with an old 500 Mb disk. During the upgrade, no server so no internet so no stats... ;)
Good news : my new C600 is running at 900. :) It needs 1.8 V to run stable.
I now have 2 GHz of processing power at home. :) 1 Duron 800 + 1 C900 + 1 C300.

Hehe! Finally got to 700 - only about 10 days late.. :) I still wonder where those machines are that are cracking under my account. I'm really sure that I converted everything over to RC5 and OGR this month.. :confused: Oh, well, I guess I'll have to consider it a gift from a secret admirer and leave it at that.. :p

Assim1 - Man, I doubt it. I'm thinking the cut-off will be VERY soon, I doubt that I'll even make it. I like seti, but I do it mainly for the stats. Yes, I'm a greedy wu HOG...hehehehehehe...and not afraid to admit it. :D BadThad is gonna milk the cow till she dries up completely. My party is gonna be over when 3.03 is crammed down our throats. At that point I'm gonna have to continue removing the cli from work machines rather than update the few I have left.

This is funny as sh!t. My boss is the one that told me to remove seti (after MIS btching)...I was in his office today and I saw the little seti driver icon running in his sys tray...HAHAHAHAHEHEHEHEHEHAHAHAHA. Hell, he's still running it for me!!! (...and he's VERY computer literate so he could easily remove it. He was just covering in case sh!t came down. He could say "I told him to remove the clients") I like my boss so much. How much cooler could a man be. :D

Well, I found out where a few of my units are coming from.. ;) It turns out my wife has been leaving her K6-2 500 on overnight and on the weekends for me! (Aren't wives great!!? :D) Anyway, she's been running the 3.0 GUI, and today it got the 'new client available, please upgrade' message, and it then downloaded another WU. She called and told me about this early this morning. I told her I'd take care of it as soon as I got a chance. Well, this evening, it finished that WU, and the SETI server now tells this machine that it's client is obsolete and it cannot download any more WU's until upgraded... (I don't recall the exact message, but it was something like that.) :( I guess I'll get to see how long it takes a K6-2 500 to do a WU on 3.03.. :disgust:


Anyway, the point of this message is that the total cutoff may be very soon indeed... :(

That's interesting Fard. Well, guess that's just another "advantage" of the CLI version. I just checked, my last wu was rec'd just 20 minutes ago. All my home CLI's are still crunching and ques full right now. :D Last one took 4hrs 1 min....gotta love it while I can! hehehehe

My 1st system to go to v3.03 will be my 2nd PC the Cel 550 which is now a ship on a detached mission ;) ,I'm gonna switch the client this weekend as well as manually flush the Q (no net connection yet) ,otherwise I risk having a whole weeks worth of WU's being rejected!

Hey Fard, I had read that they were not going to stop folks that way. Instead it was going to be a DNS change that would leave non-3.03 version users without a link to the server. As a test I just upload results and picked up new WU's using SetiQ and cli 3.0. Hmmmm...wish they would let us know!

As another test I just turned off the proxy setting and used SetiDriver to up transmit a completed WU. It worked and picked up a new one. I got the message that I need to grade, but it worked fine. It could be that GUI 3.01 has some stuff in it that the other programs don't.
