TwoFace: This is just my speculation, but I have doubts about that feature being available. They recently fixed the cgi issue and put it back on line, but they got hammered so bad with so many S@H'er that they had to restricted it. Two days ago they upgraded a server by adding additional CPUs. Here is what they say about the upgrade:
<<We had a planned outage this morning to take two CPUs out of the science database server and place them in the user database server (which has been struggling as of late). This procedure took a bit longer than expected, since we had to transfer voltage regulators along with the CPUs - a detail that wasn't made clear until halfway through the outage.
Anyway, the patients have survived the operation, and in the next day or so (when data server traffic stablizes) we'll see if this CPU donation helped break through some bottlenecks.>>
I've seen some speculation that this was done to allow the "View Last 10 Workunits" feature to be re-activated. Well, as of this morning it still says:
<<The workunit display is currently inactive due to excessive database load. Thank you for your patience>>
I have noted that the TeAm page come up faster! I think this project has gotten bigger than they ever imagined! With CPU power increasing so much in the past two years, they can hardly keep up with us! So, I think the extra CPU(s?)is to reduce the time-out we get while trying to upload WU's.
My 2 cents! 🙂😀
