SETI@HOME----> SETI@BOINC question

dxkj

Lifer
When this transfer is made in, October I believe?, will all the stats stay the same or is everything going to be reset? Was just curious.

Bryan

Yeah we do know about the stats ,there's going to be a new set of stats for BOINC so we'll be starting from scratch.
I believe the old S@H1 stats will be left for viewing

really? when was that decided?

the Credits from BOINC are different, to seti1, and when BOINC Seti@home will start, they will use the new Credits.

Cobbelstone

the new Creditsystem is very tricky, but the cheaters will be out for this.

I did this because we are an international TeAm, with members all across the world, and I feel that associating a specific country with the TeAm name is going against the internationalisation that we proud ourselves on.

Or something to that effect 🙂😉
