I can't seem to start up Seti@home anymore. I get an error message saying "bad file header".
I checked out Seti's site and it says a corrupted file header, delete the file and start again.
Which file should I be deleting? Seti doesn't say which file is corrupted.

i would just uninstall and reinstall it...your stats will still be stored....how did you corrupt that innocent little file anyways?

I recommend you uninstall it, and reinstall, using the following method. Using the CLI client will decrease your work unit times, and increase your stats :)

Also, feel free to pop into the Distributed Computing forum with any other problems with Seti@home, as people in there know more about the client and project, and many don't visit other parts of the forum :)

I believe the SETI connection is having problems at the moment, too. I can't upload any WUs right now.

Not positive why it was corrupted, but I believe I've been having ram problems lately.
I have downloaded some files which were supposed to be complete but end up with 1 or two files corrupted inside the archive each time.
This makes me think it's the ram cause the settings are at the most agressive and it has been working fine, but I'm just not sure now cause of lockups in UT2k3 and bad file downloads.
