We're still duking it out with the starfire twins, 2ch, and taiwan. Our RAC is down to #13, but our production for 6/1 was up to #11. I FINALLY got all of my quads up and running today, keeleysam has his 3 new quads up to speed, and petrusbroder has a phenom 9750 AND a 6400+ now on board...do I smell top 10? :)

here's the big list:

yeah...it's about time you contributed to the TeAm ;)

did you say 10????? Even if I can take over every computer with my new job (which is pretty likely), I don't see it giving us more than the equivalent of 1-2 quads...

don't give up yet! assuming he gets 4000 ppd from each one, that's only an additional 40k. when you have the 8 core system up to speed you should be pushing 70k/day...we might just have a race on our hands!!! :):)

Oh the joys of being in charge of technology in a small business... :)

We are probably opening a new office (90% sure), so we will need more computers, and I'm estimating ten. I really like the last three that I put together, so I'm looking at doing the same:

-Q6600 @ 3GHz
-Coolermaster Hyper TX Universal heatsink
-eVGA 650i Ultra board
-2 x 1GB HP Micron D9HNL @ 800MHz
-Sapphire X1550 (Cheapest card on Newegg with DVI)
-160GB Western Digital SATA (single platter)
-Samsung SATA DVD Burner
-Acer 19" Widescreen w/ DVI
-Logitech 350 Desktop

I put each of these together for ~$650, change the FSB to 1333, DDR to 800, and they are rock stable and way fast.

3 ghz on a Q6600 isn't really overclocking, it's just fixing the underclocking that intel did to artificially keep yields in the stratosphere b/c amd wasn't competitive :(

it also keeps the heat down in my apartment... during the winter I didn't mind... but now that it's getting warmer.

well... I just got my Asus Z7S WS board in that i'm going to pop my E5405s into.... i'm scrounging parts from other computers to get it up and running this evening... I'll be running stock most of the summer til I can get all the parts I need to watercool it.... and for asus to fix the bios so that I can run a couple raptors in raid0... near the end of august i'll put a couple of velociraptors in it and then this computer will turn into my main rig... for 6 months or so ;)
