Seti - ha I crashed a system with Seti!!!

Customer brought in a P4 that was shuting down on him... I ran a few test and could not find a problem so what the he!! I'll run Seti on it to test the proc. With in a minute the PC shut down!

Oh even better it wont come on again!

Oh it was XP.

He said his vid card went out 2 weeks ago and he replaced it. I guess the PS took that out for him.

Home built.

Replaced power supply and of course we need to run it over night just to make sure. with Seti of course.

Happens more than I can imagine. Then it looks like you killed the system. Oh well. I also agree with panhead49, to make sure the system needs to be "stress tested" for more then overnight. I like days to a week myself.
