SETI GUI Client 3.0 on NT PIII-450s is MUCH slower

I have been running Seti like I normally do on 6 extra machines at work. Where each machine would do a WU in just under 8 hours, after 7 hours each one is at either 65% or 66%. So on NT4 on PIII-450's with 6 systems working on 6 different WU's, I think it's safe to say that with this configuration GUI 3.0 is about 1/3 slower than 2.70. And I have it NOT to run as a screen saver but simply to run all the time in the background. And the systems are just sitting there doing nothing but Seti like every weekend.
 
you will see wide variations in w/u times
with the new 3.0
some can take 70% or more longer than a real quick one.

but it does a lot more checking so its worth it.
