Your upgrades should make you a worthy challenger :) Of course that is assuming that I am going to sit back and not improve my production ;)

These are rough estimates since I'll be getting it in June.

Cheapest Thoroughbred (2200+?)
512 MB DDR RAM
80 GB HDD
GeForce4 Ti 4200 (well, whatever is 1 model under the highest)

I dunno anything else about it. :)

I've herad that they will be making 2000+ Thoroughbred models. I would get a mobo capable of supporting ddr333 or ddr400 if via will release the chipset by then. By that time get some kingmax ddr400 moduals that should be available by then and overclock the heck out of that thing.

I got a bad 8K3A, so I returned the mobo but I kept the stick of RAM. So here are my updated scores on the 8K7A:

Crucial PC2100 - 9x160mhz and 8-8-6-2-2-2-2, memory scores are 2070/1920
Corsair PC2700 - 8x180mhz and 8-8-7-2-2-2-2, memory scores are 2321/2118
