Seti for a dual P3

Pokey

I am in the process of getting parts to make a dual P3 work again. And looking ahead, I could use a brief explaination on how to set up Seti once I get it working. From what I have read, I am thinking two instances of Seti, but what controls which processor works on which WU? ... 😕 ... Sounds like a silly question but this is my first dual processor MB. 😕

Sometimes these things don't come to mind until you are knee deep in it............😛 😛

Any words of wisdom from someone running one?

Here is what you do:

1. Set up SETI with SETIDriver as described in method #2 here.
2. Set number of processes in SETIDriver to 2.
3. In SETIDriver check the "processor affinity" box.

That should get you running optimally.

My Seti Driver ain't got no "Processor Affinity" box to check. I just set the processes to "2"
and all is well...Maybe I have a different version of Seti Driver?

Hay
Cheers
