Seti Driver question

Is there any way that I can have seti Driver dump all of my completed work units with out downloading new ones?
Good to know when it is 23:59gmt.😉

If you log in to the web based admin, go to Settings, and you can set download of new WUs to disabled.

Confused

Place a text file titled 'stop_after_send.txt' in your SETI directory. Then it will process the WU, send back the result, but won't get new WU's.
Delete the file when you want to download new WU's.

Simply change your DESIRED CACHE SIZE to ZERO (0) and Click on SAVE CONFIG. 😉

If we are still talking about SetiDriver, I don't think there is a way to download additional WUs without uploading WUs that have been completed.

Maybe someone can supply a script to accomplish this? Spacehead?

OOhhhh...i just thought of something 🙂

Copy SD and the CLI into a new directory. Open it up, and set the desired cache size to however many extra WUs you want to download.

Click Transmit, and let it download them all.

Re number the folders to those that will go after the folders already done in the original SD (ie, if you had 20 cached originally, number the new folders from 21 upwards)

Copy these into the existing Seti directory, and let er rip 😉🙂

It should then go and also crunch the new WUs you've just downloaded 🙂

Confused

Yeah, that will work too, thanks again everybody for the help.
Sometimes it amazes me just how flexable Seti Driver is. For instance, a couple of days ago when the data server was out and I couldnt get into any Q I just copied the contents of a cached folder from my main cruncher and pasted it into another computer and seti Driver realized that it was missing a WU and downloaded a new one once the data server problem was solved.

titanmiller ,
If you're interested, i started using a program called SETIGate. I was having too many problems with SETI Queue & needed something to store WU's for my 2 computers.
Anyway, it has the options of only sending completed WU's, only downloading new WU's, or send & recieve both.
Just thought i'd let you know about it.

BTW, i still use Driver on each computer too.
