i finally reinstalled SETI now that im back at school on a fast connection and i was wounderion what i set the client priority as. its defaulted to low. but should i have it set to normal instead??
 
Low is fine, if you up it it will only slow your machine down and will not really crunch a WU any faster.
 
There does seem to be one exception, though. If you're running Windows 98 (not 98SE), the client takes only about 90% of the CPU. Set it to normal, or anything even slightly above its default priority, and it takes 99%. 😕
