Is there a SETI client for pocket PC? My freaking PDA is such a slacker sometimes...I want to put it to work.

Not sure if its a good idea. Heat would definatly build up with it being on full load all the time. Definatly could damage something inside. It doesn't have good airflow or a big HSF like a PC.

Never heard of such a client though.

There does appear to be a client for "ARM" architecture (one arch that is used in some PDAs, IIRC) down in the obsolete clients section of this page, but I don't think it would probably work for you. I don't need to repeat what Actaeon has said, but heat would definitely be a very big problem (even more so than with a laptop and DC client).

Well, if it's got wireless capabilities, maybe set it up so you can monitor your SetiQueue - that way it can still be a part of process and get used to monitor machines that are having problems or are otherwise not crunching up to spec. ;)

I wanted to do that a while ago :p
But the 90mhz cpu, and 4mb ram would be a bit limiting
