seti classic vs. BONIC

hi, I was interested in downloading one of these two programs. What is the difference between them and which one is better? I know anandtech has a classic team, will there also be a BONIC team?

There is already a BOINC seti Anandtech team

Classic is still using the older software and the stats for it don't not count toward BOINC. A lot of folks are still crunching it to have hold our fifth place position against BBR.
BOINC uses the newer BOINC software and the stats counts for BOINC and not for Seti Classic. The goals are the same for both projects just using different software to get there.
