I knew they hadn't been gathering new data for sometime ,but I hadn't realised it had been 5 months!:Q.
I guess that gave them the ideal chance to get old WU's recruched!.

Anyway the story as to why,is here

[edit]
I don't get it ,my main SETIQ is showing WU's that were recorded in April 2002 (newest WU's in ages!) ,that contradicts what plantary.org says😕

[edit2]
even more confusing ,SETI server status page says data acquisation is off!😕

good to be back online 😀

I found this line funny as hell 😉.
If you, like most readers, are not by chance a qualified electrical engineer specializing in radio receivers, you are probably wondering at this point what a local oscillator is, and what it is good for - apart from interfering with the research of hard-working astronomers.

lol 🙂 ,yeah ,though I had a vague idea as to what it was as I use to dabble a little in CB & HAM radio gear

SETI's server status page still says this😕

Data Acquisition Status
Disabled: We are currently turned off at Arecibo Observatory. This may be due to hardware maintenance or another project at the Observatory is transmitting (and we are purposefully shut off to avoid aquisition of data contaminated with large bursts of radio frequency interference).
