SETI: Any way to administrate and queue a network of PCs with one dial-up server PC?

We have 3 PC's in the house, but the thing is we have dial-up so it's not an always-on connection. I'm usually the dial-up server (dial onto net then share connection via ICS).

I'd like to have my computer be able to track the other PCs (I found a prog called Multi Seti Monitor that does this well enough), and I'd also like some way of queueing a lot of WU's for the other PCs whenever I'm online. Any recommended setups?

Dial-up server/best SETI Cruncher: XP1700+ @ XP2600+ (2.083GHz, 166 FSB).
PC2: XP1600+ (1.40GHz, 133FSB).
PC3: Athlon 1000 Tbird (1.0Ghz, PC133 ram, 100 FSB).

That's quite a bit of processing power that could be put to use if I could set up an appropriate system to administrate the comps!

I actually tried to run this prog (I tried it alongside with the graphical 3.08), and I really couldn't get it queueing my own pc, let alone others. Are there any guides that do a good job explaining how to use this? (BTW I'm on CLI 3.03 now since I found it to be tons faster).

there'll be loads of guides around, no doubt sum1 will link for ya, but i'd have to say best thing to do would be to try it up and come to us with any issues - we're all eager to help ! 🙂

As an alternative, SETI Gate works well too. I had alot of problems setting up SETI Q, but i'm not as PC savy as most around here. SETI Gate is very easy to set up. It's kinda like a SETI Driver for networks.
Just thought i'd throw that out there for ya, good luck! 🙂

FYI, i'm also on dial-up running 2 computers on a network.
One more thing, if anyone want to try this program, be aware that it is "crunchware", it will send 1 of you finished WU's to the SETI Gate account. I find that a small price to "pay". Some people have a problem with it. I don't.
From the SG FAQ's:
5. If you use SetiGate on a regular basis it will crunch one work unit for the SetiGate account. If you want to test SetiGate you can test it up to about 10 work units before SetiGate will start to work on a work unit for the SetiGate account. As long as you don't delete and reinstall SetiGate you will never crunch more then one work unit. When you install a new version of SetiGate over an old one, SetiGate will not crunch another work unit for the SetiGate account.

Allright everyone, thx. SetiQueue works well now. I found out that it's called SetiQ for short, and a good guide is available here.

As for setup, basically, you tell SetiQ your server's IP (usually 192.168.0.1), keep your subnet at 0.0.0.0, and then in all the clients' Seti Drivers, you set the proxy server to 192.168.0.1 and you use port 5517 (the default SetiQ client port). The rest of the config looks pretty intuitive (how much you want to queue, autoconnect or not, etc).

Now I can really get cranking on WU's!
