SETI: Any SETI Gate users here? (n/m)

After fighting with SETI Q i decided to try SETI Gate, but i'm having trouble getting my clients to connect to it. Both my computers use SETI Driver & i'm not exactly sure what to put in the "host" & "port" fields.
From reading the setup manual, i've tried combos of my computer name & localhost in the host field & 5001 & 80 as the port #.
Maybe i should try my IP address in the host field?

edit- got it running.

never tried setigate.............setiq seems to work really well on winblows

if you are trying to run it on *nix with wine thats another story

might try The Java Seti Door its supposed to work on both M$ and *nix.........should run on anything that will do java

are you using the CLI version with the proxy statement?

-proxy xxx.xxx.x.x:yyyy

where the x's are the internal IP for the Q machine and the y's the port that the Q is listing on

ie: my clients are :::::::::::c:\seti\seti.exe -proxy 192.168.0.1:5001 /h (I rename the executable and the /h hides the client....won't work on XP unless you run it in a compatibilty mode, the /h that is)
