Would an alpha cpu setup be faster then amd or an intel cpu running seti. Anyone have info on the alpha cpu, prices, M/B ect.
 
Since Compaq bought them out I haven't seen components available for sale any longer.

They do well at S@H but it's still cheaper just to put together multiple x86 boxes.
