Seti 64-bits on AMD A64 with Linux, very slow crunching time..

I've installed SuSe 9.1Pro 64-bits on my A64 system.
Being very close to the 5K milestone in Seti I'd like to cruch those last wu's before the project ends.

But, my system crunches a wu in under 2hrs when running WindowsXP and with everything 64-bits, it takes more then 3hrs to complete a normal wu!
Is there anyone who knows how to speed this up?
I only need 13 more wu's, so it's not a big problem, but I thought it should be faster then the 32-bits version...

Thanks!

There is atleast a x86_64-pc-linux-gnu v3.08 client

As for speed, no idea, but haven't the linux-client always been slower than the windows-client (except in VLAR)?

Yes, I use the x86_64 client for linux.
Indeed, it always took a little longer on linux, but not 50% like it is now!
At max 15min, but this must be something else..

I'll check with the normal 32-bits version, and see what that will bring 😉
