Set Vcore in windows? CPU Voltage

HAL9000

Lifer
Hey guys anyone know how to increase the CPU voltage in windows, without using the bios.

Thanks in advance.

You'd need a motherboard that's compatible with something like Eleet or EasyTune. I'm assuming this is an OEM machine which is why you can't get to that option in the bios. If it is, very doubtful you'll be able to pull it off.

System specs?

Righto, well the reason I can't do it in the bios is it dosen't have one! It's a Mac Pro.

2 x 2.66Ghz X5355 Quad's @3.1GHz
12GB DDR2
2 x 60GB OCZ Vertex 2E's RAID 0 - Boot Mac OS 10.6.4
2 x 64GB Crucial C300 RAID 0 - Boot Windows 7 Pro x64
160GB Raptor
1.5TB WD Green
XFX 5870+5970 Trifire
Blu Ray RW Drive

🙂 So no bios for me, software only. Thought it might be fun to try and over clock a bit more.

If you try to overclock a mac, the iLockdown app will engage and immediately shut down all power and communications from your house. A holograph of Steve Jobs, beamed from space, will berate you for accelerating global warming.

Yeah I have that a couple of times, but then I always just use the iJailbreak app that means a group of geeks jump out and make Steve Jobs cry.
