Set-up of Dial-up Network

Hi, I sure do hope someone can help me set up my home network to share a dial-up connection. To start off with, I have two computers, both running Windows XP Home Edition. I have Netzero as my dial-up network. The two computers (K12ONE and K12TWO) share a network called HOME. They communicate just fine. When I set up the network, K12ONE was selected as a Direct Connect to the Netzero ISP. I set the second one to connect using the LAN network connection. I am using Mozilla Firefox as the browser. There is a reason for this. The original connection used IE6 as the browser and worked fine until I downloaded XP Service Pack 2. I lost the network and internet sharing capabilities when that happened. I was told to get rid of IE because that was the problem. I restored my computers to original set-up and got rid of SP2. This did not help at all, so I was told to start over and use Netscape or Firefox instead. Again, I can connect the two computers and share everything but the internet. Can anyone help on this? I am using ethernet Cat 5 cables through a Lynksys router to connect the two computers. Thanks in advance for anyone's help.
