Set top box WITHOUT dvr or fancy features, for cablecard usage?

I've always wondered about this - while my living room tv is a higher end unit that has a cablecard slot, my bedroom tv does not. It's a 1080p lcd but pretty low end - do they make cablecard tuners out there? I don't need a dvr for my bedroom so a tivo or the likes would be overkill, and the goal is to pay as little as possible.

Easy answer: no.

They used to have CableCard slots in TVs, but they stopped doing that around 2-3 years ago, unfortunately.
