-------------------------------------------------
Milestones achieved on 6/3:

jw.middleton - 9000 (9011)
-------------------------------------------------

The talk of the Seti Race World still revolves around def and his amazing burst of speed over the weekend. He turned in over 100 workunits in a little over a day, :Q putting substantial distance between himself and MaxSiren. But don't worry, Max, I think it was only a temporary assimilation! ;)

Not much movement as far as placement goes among the TeAm. As usual, RaySun2be moves up but it's only one position for a change. The only other placement change is mgpaulus who climbs to number 80 among Anandtechers.

Phiton keeps up his steady pace, gunning for OhioDude. It's only a matter of time, but there may be some temporary reinforcements for OD coming in the near future... ;)

Congratulations to jw.middleton on reaching 9000! He'll be joining the 10k club in the not too distant future.

-------------------------------------------------

As always, let me know of any new challenges.

Hahhh. Not sure what this obsession with being 1st is, but here I am.....

Ahh yes, back to the lofty 80, where I was "preening", before some new member with 3000+ WUs so rudely knocked me down.

Hey, OhioDude, thanks for this work. I'm hoping that the raw stats part is a script of some sort. Otherwise, you have way more dedication than I do (I am a "fire and forget" kind of guy... The kind of guy that is described in the beginning of the Learning Perl Book... "Programmers are lazy...")

I notice that the power surge hits my work only on weekends... This is not the first, second, or third monday morning that I come to work only to find my win95(thanks UPS) stuck on the scandisk screen :(

<< I'm hoping that the raw stats part is a script of some sort >>

Nope -- it's done the old fashioned way, but there are a couple of websites that make the job pretty easy, like the Team Anandtech page at Berkeley and Nexus9's stats page.

<< The kind of guy that is described in the beginning of the Learning Perl Book... "Programmers are lazy... >>

Yep, that describes me perfectly as well, except I'm too lazy to write a script... :D If we had twenty races going, it'd be a different story.

Nothing big, really. Customer's 933 MHz PIII (I think) coming in for a while. You know how you gotta make sure the customer won't have any problems with that new hardware. Gotta give it a good burn in crunchin' a few wu's. ;)

I'm actually going to be losing a 1GHz PIII in a few weeks, though. Customer wants it back. Can you believe that?!? :D
