So quick, shine it right at the chrome-plated faucet, and numerous other reflective surfaces!Most of the people here at LPF already understand the potential eye hazards involved with something like this. But for those who are new to lasers, this modification can damage the eye instantly with a direct shot or reflection.

Those 12X BD diodes are impressive given folks are getting CW out of them considerably above their PULSED ratings! Class IV 405nm - quite dangerous indeed!
Putting that in a toy like that while seemingly harmless - if a child picks it up and there's no beam shutter or lockout and they look into it! YIKES!!!
I have a 150mW bluray pointer that's focusable and lots of fun. It cures UV adhesive about as fast as kicking CA!![]()
