I don't remember how or why, but for some reason the world forum sees sleep deprivation in order to get information from a prisoner not as torture, and allowable and fine in most aspects. I heard it on the BBC News a while ago, but I don't remember exactly all the details. I guess since it doesn't inflict pain or injury to the prisoners.. they're well fed, not physically abused, etc.. it's a-ok.
torture my a$$...I could think of some real torture for them...
I don't see sleep depravation as torture, considering I have fallen asleep twice at rock concerts...and at star wars I (sitting in the first row next to the speakers)...the only time I woke up was to the noise of some light saber...but then in about 20 seconds I was out again.
