Something happend to my pc when either Comcast turned off service to tv for upgrades or when MS sent xp update. Maybe it wasn't finished.

I keep getting computer browser service turned off. Themes turned off. Etc. They don't seem to stay on.
 
Use System Restore to restore your computer to a date before the problem started. Then let it run Windows updates again.
