That's a broad question. Could you please tell me the LAn you have setup and what OSes your PCs are running? Also, whay do you want a server? Do you want DNS and DHCP, or simply to have dedicated files? What is your plan for this server? With a little more info, I'd be gald to help.

I have a gateway 333 that i'm trying to network with a campaq laptop. I do fine with the file sharing and the two pc recognizing each other, but cannot get on the web going thru the gateway with the compaq. I have tcp/ip ,I get a window that tells me no domain server to verify. the user name and password . Hope that helps. Thanks
 
What type of Internet connection you have (Modem, Cable, DSL, ISDN, T1)?

What your network hardware consists of (Direct connection, Hub, Router, USB)?

Internet service cannot share over the network as it is.

There are few general options:

1. Cable/DSL/Modem Router.
.
2. Software solution, Windows ICS, and the like.

3. Additional computer that acts as Internet Server-Firewall.
