Hello,
I just couldn't walk out of MC without the 199$ deal for a D0 i7 920- EVIL ... so now I have one..
Interests with machine:
AVCHD editing with Premiere Pro CS4/4.1
gaming secondary - this is creating the conflict
I've researched some part prices for a i7 machine. Right now I need a mobo and ram. Because of my interests with Video editing, I've thought about a dual socket server mobo. Which will leave me good upgrade options. What are the disadvantages with gaming on a dual socket server mobo? I'm almost sure the NB chipset won't be optimized for graphics let alone Cross-fire...
Thanks
