Someone invent a feature where you only receive email from a list of specified email addresses if not already existent.

Hmm, not "adv," it's part of too many words. Try all uppercase "ADV" if you can or better,"ADV:" and "ADV-"

Intake77 - I have one E-mail address that is the tech, and admin contact for 3 domains... it gets a lot :).

bandXtrb - Woops my bad... yes *ADV:* is correct. We use that filter on our mail server at work. It has 4000 Email accounts and that filter blocks about 600 emails a day. Our RBLs block several hundred as well. We also have VERIFY HELO set to always and that blocks a bit too. It's cool because out customers have noticed less spam!

I got a phone call about a customer who didn't want to use our mail services and was complaining why he couldn't send us mail... it turned out he was running his own Exchange server and it was configured as an open relay and he was blacklisted :). He had no clue what to do, and he said he fired his tech guy :)

I'll put it in there to filter them out, but i get very few spams that have ADV in the subject... or are you saying to block it from the header?
