Server Service missing?

Strange one for you - on one of my Windows XP Pro, sp2, all updates through yesterdays flood machines, the Servier service is not even listed. It wreaks havoc on trying to use Computer Management - not to mention sharing is dead now.

Any ideas on how I can re-register server (and what is the EXE?) service on my pc to show up in the list of services?
 
Open your network adapter properties and check the box marked "file and print sharing". I also think "client for MS networks" has to be ticked.
