Server RAID Card

I'm looking for a high performance RAID card. I've used the DPT Decade cards before, and they don't perform as well as I would like. I'm looking at these three: Adaptec 3200S, AMI Elite 1600, and Mylex AcceleRAID 352. Does anybody have an opinion on which would be the best? I'm also open to any other suggestions. I will be running RAID5 with 3-Seagate Cheetah X15 drives. Card goes in a 64-bit, 33 or 66Mhz PCI slot. Thanks.

You can't go wrong with the Adaptec. I've configured a few of them at work and they are great. I don't have any experience with the other two brands, though.

We used an AMI once on a server because it has the ablitity to upgrade the onboard cache, something the Adaptec couldn't do. I think the card could hold 64-128mb of onboard cache? Adaptec was only at 2-4mb or something weak in comparison.

The Mylex cards are our standardized card for our FreeBSD servers. We also use them for out large external RAID arrays. One of which is about to 5.4TB fully mirrored. fscking usenet!
