Server PSU in desktop system

I have a PSU that was connected to a HP server system (I guess E-ATX??) with a 24pin connector I believe. Would it be possible to use that in a standard ATX system? I was able to jump start it like normal ATX PSUs using the green wire trick but I had to connect different wires compared to a regular PSU so does this mean the connector is completely different than a regular ATX PSU?
