Hello to all, I have a home server running windows advance server. Iam currently sharing dsl with my brother downstairs but under this setup we are both connected to a router and as a workgroup. Now the problem is I installed another NIC on my server so I can Isolate my network upstairs and the one downstairs from each other(so that my brother computer and my server share the dsl bandwith,and the computers upstairs(my others)look to my server for internet access and apps etc). So my questions is how will I make this work? I don't want my server to be part of a workgroup because I want to centralize security on my network(upstairs). Can anyone help?

IF not how about this how should I configure windows2000 server so that all my pcs has to log on througt it(the server), Do anyone know how to setup client/server type of networks???????
If so please tell me how to get some startup help. if not let me know so I could scearch somewere else
