Server Migration

I have a client who just got in a new a Dell server running Windows 2003 server. The new server is also running a 2 disk raid for redundancy. While I've worked on 2000 and 2003 servers a bit, I've never done a migration.

1) What's the best way to migrate the network settings? Are there any tools for this?

2) What is the best way to copy the data over? Through the network? Put the drive in the new server and copy to the array?

Any insight to the process would be helpful. Thanks

Without knowing the intricate details of the functions that this server performs then it's really impossible to answer this question. And since this is a "client" of yours then I'm assuming you're getting $$ in which case you should figure it out your self or cut us in on the profit.

There is a metric ton of information about migrating from 2000 to 2003 on Microsoft's website. Check it out.
