Does anyone know of any software solutions that exist? Or has anyone had experiences in this area?
I'm located on a college campus and within each of our dorms we have mac clusters and a cluster tech who looks over their respective cluster. We have two servers that the techs can connect to in order to assimilate the macs with a set image. Because as of this point we don't have load balancing across the two servers one server is often hit a lot harder during campus-wide assimiliating periods. We're looking for a solution and i've been appointed to do research but I dont' have much experience in this area. We'd also like to be to synchronize the macs so that when one app is installed on one server, it can be synchronized onto the other server.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
