Server help needed !

Here goes

For whatever reason(I haven't a clue), I lost access to my home server. It was running fine for a while !

After uninstalling personal web manager and reinstaling,playing around some and getting a new ip address (I'm on a dynamic), updating it at dhs.org, It's back-----------but asking for a password to log in.

How do I get rid of this ?

When you say it's asking for a password, do you mean from Windows, connecting remotely ??? Could there be a cookie with the old IP address in there with your password info ???

I get a box that says

Do you get this when trying to log on?

I get a "You are not authorised to view this web page with the login information supplied" type message. So it looks like my PC is trying to supply a name/password with asking me...
You need to turn off security somehow. Now if you were using Apache on Linux I could help but I've never used a Windows based web-server..
Also, you may be able to set read/write permissions on the directories/files, check that these are OK...
