Server doesnot get powered on

Hi everyone, I have removed the server from the HP Enclosure to replace Network Card and then i tried to mount the server back. During this time , there was network connectivity issue with Enclosure IP. When i mounted the server the server is not getting powered on. even if i lose connectivity to OA and VC but still the server has to be poweron. Am i right? Please correct me.

What "server" are you talking about (model number) and what did you use as a replacement NIC? Is it a card that is compatible with the server hardware and software? And did you install the proper drivers?

Disconnect the power, open the server, and make sure all components (not just the NIC) are seated securely, reconnect the server, and see if it will turn on properly. If not, take out the new NIC and then try to turn on the server to see what happens.
