Server Data Backup..

dawks

I have a server (Server 2003 SP1) with user profiles on it. We'd like to back that data up daily to a remote location. At that location we have a PC with a large hard drive on it. How do we backup the data (which is secured with NTFS permissions - only the user and system have access to it), daily, but keep about a weeks worth of backups? Right now we use the Windows Backup program, which can backup files that are protected by NTFS permissions, but I can only figure out how to backup nightly, which overwrites the previous days backup. Can NTBackup do what I want? or do I need to find another program? We are a non-profit, so we'd like to minimize the cost if possible. Thanks.

Hi
Don't know if NTBackup could help you, but True Image for servers can. For keeping a weeks backups you should make an incrimental backups every day, and every week you can rewrite it. here you can chose the version you need. Hope it helps.
