server behind speedstream 4 port router - help please

i have a server behind a speedstream 4 port router. the problem i am having is people can connect fine, but it seems like if i get hammered, a lot of connections within a small time period or sometimes even random times something happens to the router and you can not login to the server. the people who are already logged in are ok. outgoing connections and internet are ok and i can connect to the server from within the network, the problem is people outside the network can't connect. i also have no idea this has happened unless i try and login from outside the network. what i have to do is manually reset the router and then everything is fine.

any ideas of what i can do to prevent this from happening? i'd rather not have to reset the router everytime.

I do not think it is a Speedstream problem it is probably a bandwidth issue. Talk to your ISP may be they can Help you.
