Server Administration/Programming/IT/Tech Support Jobs

What makes them so special that companies are trying to send them to India(or other countries)?

Why are other jobs that could just as easily be done in india not getting sent over there. As far as I've heard it's all been IT and IT Tech support and so on. Are there not plenty of other jobs that could be pushed over there just as easily?

easily done remotely for low cost? what else do you think could be moved over there?

Manufacturing is being outsourced as well. I've heard stories where folks who've worked for a company for 20+ years were being laid off for the cheaper labor overseas. To add more insult to injury, they had to train them! Now that f'ed up.

Well everything could technically go over there(minus maybe sales) and most likely cost less...

Thats got to be painful to have to teach your replacement when you are not leaving by choice.

The only thing that is not being out source in Canada is trades type jobs.
