Server 2008 32bit Key for 64bit Installation?

It's Not Lupus

Senior member
I need to install Server 2008 64-bit. I have some keys (from DreamSpark and MSDNAA) which I think are associated as 32-bit. Will these work (activate)?

I know a 32-bit key will work for 64-bit Windows 7 and vice versa, but Server 2008 came before Windows 7 when Microsoft became more lax on this issue as far as I know.

Edit: works fine. thanks.

I do not know what exactly you have.

Currently on MSDN the 32 and 64 are the same key.
