Well, let's see... most of those threads are beyond their prime, have content in them that is irrelevant to conversation today, have OP's or the bulk of the posters have long since been gone or banned, and mostly the offending party necro'ing the thread has absolutely NOTHING useful to contribute to the original thread in the first place thereby making the thread a waste, pissing off the mods and clogging up the first page of ATOT.

Still don't see the issue, given it was posted in the first place. I think any thread that was posted should be free game. What's the point of the forum then? If it's such a big deal, then get the mods to delete old threads. Sorry it has ruined your day. I'll have to find a few to dig up.

Most of the necros come from spammers, or people who find ancient threads via Google - so they'll never see this thread anyway. :\


Then the spammer's post gets deleted, so it looks like it was a regular member who revived the thread.

Pretty sure "Necro" was used 1-1/2 years ago, "in your day". (FYI, "necro" means reviving an old thread that has outlived any useful purpose, but I'm sure you already know that)
