Its amazing how many commercials there are. The last 5 minutes on the clock takes like a half hour and its all commercials.

If I didn't have a dvr I'd go crazy!

For me it's easy...all those commercials are when I pick my laptop up off the coffee table and check Yahoo StatTracker/ESPN FantasyCast to see how everyone is doing in my fantasy leagues.

I haven't watched a game live for years. DVR FTW! Start 1 hour into the game, and you usually finish the game live the last 2 minutes or so.
 
i might actually remember to watch the nfl this year, but...its not my favorite sport to watch. too many breaks, nevermind commercials, i just get bored and easily distracted between plays.

i mean...i missed the first game already for some teams, right? but i think the panthers play at 1 on sunday or something so i wanna catch that. i might even follow along this year.

I don't, or at least I didn't yesterday. I'm watching the Titans/Steelers game now. It sucks that I found out the score already, but it's still fun to watch.
 
its not that big a deal if you have a laptop or watch it with friends. i'm rather watch football with all its commercials than watch soccer any day.

1st game was last night. So yeah, you missed the first game for 2 teams. 😛
 
There are a ton of commercials, but they have me hook, line, and sinker.

The worse is after a touchdown or field goal. You have 7 minutes of commercials when you include the after the TD adverts. and the after kickoff adverts.

They're not that hard to change yourself. Though they do cost a pretty penny.

I do this too but then sometimes I forget I'm not watching it live and someone calls/texts and says OMG DID YOU SEE THAT TD? and im like no its not live 🙁

The world has not experienced American football.
We have experienced soccer over here, and we think it's "meh".

That said, I do like soccer more than baseball, tennis, golf, and a few other sports (at least spectating-wise).
