I have a LeadTek Ti4600 VIVO. Everything in my computer is running fine now, even the video card. However, when I install the drivers for the card so that I can play games and things like that with better quality (without the drivers display is not very good).

Here is what happens when I install the drivers (30.82 and whatever 5.7 is from the Leadtek Driver CD) on Windows XP. I cannot change resolutions, if I do the screen goes black and the computer must be shutdown. I cannot run DVD's or any video file, if I do the whole video freezes.

When windows turns back on and asks me to send error report (which, btw, I could not even do if I wanted to. for some reason xp wont go on the net.) I view the thing and this is what it says:

szAppName : Drivers.Display szAppVer : 10DE0250A32891107D
szModName : nv4_disp.dll szModVer : 6.13.10.2942 Offset : D0A106EA

Please someone help me. I have tried the latest drivers from nvidia and leadtek. No luck. I need help fast, I will be leaving very soon.

A friend of mine just said that if I get the XP patches everything will be fine, which I would gladly do. However, windows will not get on the internet. The ethernet card works fine in windows 98se. Even in Windows XP, it installs it and detects my network cable (if i take it out it says its unplugged. When I plug it back in, it says its running or something like that) . The cable modem's PC Connection light goes on when I turn on computer and the NIC lights are on. Help please.
