Lately, I have been getting so much spam, I have considered a number of solutions. I have even considered bringing criminal and civil cases against the spammers.

What do you all do about spam?

How seriously do you take it?

On my work email, I get about 10 unsolicited emails from the public a day that I want........... and about 100 I do NOT want..........

i get about 1 or 2 emails a day. all of which i solicited.

lately, in 1 account, i've recieved a total of 5 spam messages.

not sure what to do about it.

i've had all 3 of my accounts that i check daily for as long as i've had my website. (5 months). so.. hmm....

Impossible,

I have a public email that has to public for me to do my job 🙁

OK, then get a public email address and one private. Or use something like Spamassasin.

I only use 1-email for EVERYTHING, and I've just now started to get spam for the first time in three years. Starting last friday, I've been getting a few porn spams every now and then.

I get so much spam it is actually kinda funny. With the email address crazyfool@hotmail.com I expect a bunch, I mean when the drunken crazyfool69@hotmail.com forgets their full email address it's actually kinda funny times except when there are about a thousand dumdums who keep signing up for stuff with my email address. This is my thanks for having a hotmail account since 1996. 😛

It starts with one a week... then a couple... and before you know it, it's ten a day. Spam filters are great, but I find myself checking the junk mail folder anyway, just in case it's picked up a legit email. It saves time because you don't have to delete them, but it's definitely not an ideal solution :/

Some ISPs block spam at their end.

If you're not publishing your e-mail address, you won't get any spam.
