I've been with the same guy for over 3 years. We are not officially dating anymore, but he and I are still kind of in an exclusive relationship. I think we have sex enough, he does not.

How often do you have sex with your SO and how long have you been dating or been married.
Who usually has to initiate it? Is it still fun?

my gf and i have sex about 1 to 2 times a week, depending how she feel and what kind of mood she is in. Usally i have to initiate it. Would be nice if she acctully initiate it and got on top and started doing some of the work.
 
We've been together six years, and do it two to four times per week. I'd say the initiation switches back and forth, and yeah, it's still enjoyable.
She doesn't think do it enough either.
 
we have been together for 5 years. living together for 4, married for one month.
on average, we have sex (intercourse, BJ, etc.) about 3-4 times per week. sometimes more, sometimes less, but thats just how our bodies are.

We usually both initiate on and off (it seems like we subconciously take turns). This is a good number to us and i never turn him down but we both think this is a good number.
EDIT: its always been enjoyable and VERY satisfying... and as we are together longer, it seems to get better. I feel like i can be a lot more open with him and try new things

How long have you two been going out? Do you get upset because it's only 1-2 times a week?
 
men like to hit it, they would like to hit it as often as possible. if you are not down with the deed, you prolly have some issues with him. You're prolly just ready to move the fvck on, but are afraid of being alone.

When you do get it on, is it a quickie? do you find yourself more often than not lying back and thinking of england? is he usually initiating? is it machine like, he pleasures you until you're satisfied (or close enough) then he finishes up while you wait? If so, time to leave... its better for both of you.

If you're just really busy and there isn't time to get it on, thats different. or if its still really passionate when you DO get it in, you're just not in the mood as often, thats different. but i'll venture a guess you resent him more than a little for his advances, and you've been eyeing someone else.

it seems like men are in the mood 99% of waking hours, whilst women are in the mood 50-75% of the time.

it makes statistical sense for women to have the role as initiator 😀
 
dont take this the wrong way but I don't think many people here will be familar with the average sexual encounters in a homosexual relationship.

It's not that, I like to do it, it's just that I have never had super active libido...with anyone.
I am perfectly happy with 3 times a week or so. I don't need anymore. And if I don't want to do it, I shouldn't be made to feel like something is wrong with me.

That's really not necessarily true. Sex drive can vary by person.
 
married for about one year, together about three years. Aiming for 7 times/week, managing 3-4 times/week. On vacation about ten times / week 😀
right now 0 times, 'cause I'm here and she's about 10000 km and one ocean wide away and that will last for one more month 🙁
 
me and my gf have been together for almost a year now. When it comes to sex, she's the horny one. We have sex at least 12 times a week, depending if I just swing by after work or if we spend the week together (don't live together). Somedays I just want to sleep, whereas she'd rather have sex. I dunno...

my gf and i have been going out for about 1 year 4 months. I dont mind that we are only doing it 1 to 2 times a week. We only see each other twice a week. She lives about 40 miles away and work for daycare center all weekend and i work all week and weekend til about 8pm.
 
Generally at least once daily with current girlfriend...been together for 5 months now.

With last girlfriend (had been together 2.5 years), we probably did it 4-5 days out of the week...and on the weekends it usually was more than once.

Anyway, once I'm married and have kids...I really won't expect it more than 3-4 total times a week.
